DIY installation is best suited to utes with flat rear glass. Heat-moulding curved rear glass is an advanced technique.

Basic install sequence

  1. Work indoors in a clean, dust-free area.
  2. Thoroughly clean the inside of every window.
  3. Follow the instructions to position each pre-cut piece.
  4. Smooth each piece into place with a tint squeegee.

Description

Rayno Phantom S9 is a nano carbon ceramic film with a charcoal finish. Rayno's published specifications rate the stocked 5%, 15%, 20% and 35% shades at 92–93% infrared rejection and 99.9% UV rejection.

Compared with Phantom S7, Rayno's figures show higher infrared rejection across the shades we stock. The 3M Ceramic IR is a separate nano-ceramic option with a neutral colour; manufacturer test methods vary, so cross-brand percentages are not directly comparable.
